Olympic Style Sport Fencing

Fencing is a sport steeped in history and tradition. A distant descendant of the European-style dueling, fencing is now an exciting, fast-paced, game of skill, speed and cunning.

It is likely that nothing you have done before is quite like fencing. (Try to think of another sport where the goal is to hit someone else with a metal stick.) Whether your background is in sports, in dance, in martial arts, or in something perhaps not remotely athletic, you'll find fencing is different, challenging, and a lot of fun.

Founded in 2000 as the Northampton Fencing Center, the Riverside Fencing Club has provided a friendly place for fencers to train for a decade. We welcome fencers of all levels of experience, from complete beginners to national champions (current, former, or future).
